5D Project Process

A Simple Structure to Get Things Done—Inside Each Step of Your Initiative

Once you’re working inside a specific IMPACT step—like Identify or Plan—you need a reliable, repeatable way to execute the actual work.

That’s where the 5D Project Process comes in.

This is your day-to-day workflow for making real progress.

What It’s For

The 5D Process helps break down complex work into clear, manageable phases—no overwhelm, no wasted motion.

The 5Ds – A Repeatable Project Process

Purpose
1. DefineClarify the goal. What are you trying to build or improve? What does success look like?
2. DesignExplore options and approaches. What formats, styles, or systems will work best?
3. DevelopBuild out the assets, systems, or tools. Create the actual deliverables.
4. DeployLaunch it. Put it into action, run the test, or go live.
5. DeliverTrack, document, report results. Reflect, optimize, and file everything where it belongs.

Folder Example

When used within an IMPACT step folder (like 3 Plan), it might look like:

📁 Plan
└── 📁 Write Blog Post (5D Project Process)
    ├── 📁 1 Define
    ├── 📁 2 Design
    ├── 📁 3 Develop
    ├── 📁 4 Deploy
    └── 📁 5 Deliver

You can duplicate this structure within any of the six IMPACT steps.

No matter what project or task you’re tackling, the 5Ds give you clarity and momentum.

Why This Works

Many solopreneurs and side-hustlers stall out because they don’t have a system for taking action.

The 5Ds act like a mini production pipeline—a plug-and-play process for turning ideas into outcomes.

When used consistently, it becomes second nature—and keeps you moving forward, one clear step at a time.
